THE VILLA
Villa Uva is set right in the heart of the territory of "Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce D.O.C.".
Surrounded by vineyards and just close to the eighteenth-century church, it is a "house of light", with wide glass walls in every room.
The inside and the outside constantly blend: you may sit in any room and still feel so much a part of the private park or the ancient church tower.

The first floor is dedicated to guests and the private park can be rented for special events.
ACCOMODATIONS
Villa Uva can meet both private and business needs.
Families and couples can enjoy staying in one of the two big suites.
Business people can meet and work in the large Living & Meeting Room with a view of the park.
Access to any space can be requested as "exclusive" making it a completely separate and independent apartment in itself.

EVENTS
The private park can be rented for special events, wedding parties or outdoor photography studios. The Living & Meeting Room is available upon request for business events.

Art Cities and Towns
Carpi's historic centre, with its renaissance sites and the third largest square in Italy, is just 3 Km away and can be easily reached by bike or on a nice walk.
It's always very lively and often the scene of cultural events.
Modena, with its Duomo (a UNESCO world heritage site) is 17 km away and just a 20-minute drive from Villa Uva.
Walking, Running and Biking
The Villa is set just along the "Healthy Walking Trail", sponsored by Carpi City Council. These winding paths have become a daily hotspot for runners and hikers of all ages and can also be enjoyed on a bike.
Traditional Cuisine
The Trattoria Santa Croce is just a few steps from Villa Uva. Many other authentic restaurants, with excellent traditional Emilian cuisine can be found within the surronding countryside.
Wineries and Dairies
Also in the Santa Croce neighborhood, you will find both a Dairy farm and a Winery selling products from the territory (Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P cheese and Lambrusco D.O.C. wine) .
Many others are in the nearby areas.
Day Trips to Major Destinations
While staying at Villa Uva you can take advantage of Carpi's strategic position in the middle of Northern Italy and enjoy multiple day trips.
Milan, Florence, Bologna, Lake Garda, Verona, Mantua and Parma are all within a 45-min to 1h30 drive or train ride. Venice, the Alps, and both coasts can be reached in 2 hrs.
Nature & Countryside

The eighteenth century church is just around the corner and the surrounding countryside is dotted with street altars that people decorate with flowers.Vineyards and wheat fields stretch out from the southern edge of the villa, and century-old oak trees can be spotted along the canals.

Our motto comes from the famous ode “Carpe Diem” by the Latin poet Horace.
“Sapias, vina liques et spatio brevi spem longam reseces ” today would sound like “be wise, strain your wine, and scale back your long-term expectations to a short period”.
It’s a call to appreciate the beauty of small things and of the present moment.
We liked it, and the fact that Villa Uva is surrounded by vineyards and tranquillity is a lucky coincidence.
